Scripts Development

The Red Room creates relationships with writers rather than plays. We usually commission from an idea which interests both company and writer, although we have very occasionally optioned plays.  

Each commission involves a specific artistic process, unique to that project. If we are interested in your work, you will be invited to meet with Topher Campbell, the Artistic Director, who creates the programme.  

Please note that due to a major restructure of the new writing department we do not currently have the resources to guarantee a response to any unsolicited scripts, although submissions are still welcomed.  Thank you for your understanding during this period of change.
