The Red Room is a young and refreshingly ambitious theatre
production company. We exist to free the imagination against
the status quo. We create new work which will provoke and
inspire – that is fresh, diverse, radical, honest
and brave.
Now looking at our 10th Year we celebrate a decade of success
and look forward to continuing our radical programme of
work, pushing boundaries in form and leading the way for
political new writing.
Our groundbreaking work has been celebrated by the diverse
audiences that we attract and by the critics alike. We have
won many awards including Time Out Award - Best Off West
End Production – Stitching, 2002 Herald Angel Award
– Stitching, 2001 Manchester Evening News - Best Fringe
Performance The Bogus Woman, 2000 The Scotsman Fringe First
Award - The Bogus Woman, 1997 Time Out Award – Best
Fringe Production - The Censor, Writers Guild Award –
Best Play – The Censor.
As a not for profit organisation we are always looking
for ways in which we can develop this level of support and
activity.
By supporting The Red Room you can help us support our
work with diverse communities, new and emerging writers
and ambitious new productions. If you would like to discuss
